Unfortunately the new job (and the commute to Londres) has left me with little time to take proper DSLR Outfit of the day photos (à la my last outfit post) - but I have been snapping away the outfits I've donned every day. Just a quick glance aaand I think a trend is pretty clear!? Hello Monochrome! What can I say I like to K.I.S.S - you know, Keep it simple stupid! It's always pretty daunting starting a new job let alone for us girls worrying about the dress code (Yes that sparkly jacket IS 'bang on trend' but no one wants to be referred to as 'disco ball' for the next ten years and yes your YSL tributes are gorgeous but the fifth journey down the stairs will leave you wanting to chew off your own feet off) so I decided to bring it right back to basics and stick to some classic wardrobe staples....

Zara is, in my opinion, the creme de la creme in terms of gorgeous, well-fitted blazers (top tip - always, ALWAYS have a browse on eBay for Zara jackets before paying full whack) hence my obsession and the H&M sleeveless dreseses fit like an absolute dream, are so flattering and the perfect length. I bought it in black and dark grey and they are definitely worth investing in if you need sophisticated, simple workwear/ a 'go to' meeting/interview outfit. £24.99 each.
