Nude Cleansing Facial Oil - Review

I purchased this a few months ago and used it once. The first time I used it I was overwhelmed by the smell of the product and regretted purchasing it as it was so thick and oily in consistency (should really have gathered that from the name) and I decided that I couldn't possibly use it as I had oily skin and it would break me out, so it got thrown to the back of my drawer not to re-emerge until I left my other cleanser at home.

I decided I would try the product one more time. The second time, the smell wasn't over-powering, in fact it was quite pleasant. I think you get used to it - what you can smell is florally/jasmine - be warned, it is a strong smell! I only need about three pumps to cover my entire face, you apply it into your skin and then apply water and it forms a lather, work this into your skin and then rinse it off. One absolutely huge bonus of this product is that it really does remove eye make-up. You can rub this product into your eyes and it it will dissolve the mascara without any irritation to your eyes. I personally remove my eye-makeup before and then I use this to remove any remaining mascara.

See? That is waterproof make-up remover and it removes it beautifully leaving no oily residue but skin that is soft to the touch. This cleanser doe not irritate my face or cause any redness, tightness or stinging. I use this as a pre-cleanser in the evenings then follow it with a mild exfoliator but in the mornings I use just this as it thoroughly cleanse the face with no irritation (I am prone to redness with certain products due to my sensitive skin). Furthermore, even though I have oily skin I have experienced no breakouts since I began regularly using this oil. It does not leave you with any sticky/oily residue it leaves your skin feeling refreshed, clean and smooth.

The RRP of this is £22 which is expensive but the bottle will last you a long time. Plus if you are concerned about the chemicals you are rubbing into your skin every day this is formulated without parabens, sulphates, PEGs, TEA, DEA, propylene glycol, phthalates, GMO, mineral oil and silicones.
