Britains Next Top Model Live Press Day Event - Preview Post.

bintm

So as you may or may not know I was lucky enough to attend BINTM Live as Press and with my own little camera crew! It was ridiculously exciting and I loved every second of it.

I can hardly believe this but not only did I manage to get some incredible footage and photos of the event: The catwalk show, the model 'walking' masterclasses, the shopping, the beauty on offer, the casting couch, the pineapple dancing studio kids (cutest thing I ever did see), Lauren's Way collection and Amy Child's new collection...I actually managed to secure one-on-one interviews for Jennifer Rosellen with:

Amy Child's - Former TOWIE star and Big Brother

Lauren Goodger - TOWIE Star

Joanne & Ufoma - Britains Next Top Model Finalists

Roland Johnson - Mr England 2011

I also had the pleasure of interviewing some fellow bloggers at the event (L-R):

Anna - http://www.viviannadoesmakeup.com/

Jessica - http://www.jfashionandbeauty.com/

Onna - http://www.onnaslittleblog.blogspot.com/

Karen - http://londonfashionfreakxo.blogspot.com/

They talked me through each of their outfit choices for the day so you can find out what each of those amazing beauty/style bloggers decided to wear to the event! I also interviewed some other attendees whose style I loved and I chatted with three delightful little girls (I think ages 7-10 years old) who talked to me about their love for the programme, their outfits (lots of glitter and pink - right up my street!) and they showed me their best modelling poses at the end!

I opted for a simple Black Topshop playsuit with gorgeous embellished floral detailing on the shoulders. This little extra ensures it stands out from a normal 'LBD' (or LBP if we're being pedantic!). I had a lot of people come up to me and ask where my playsuit was from - but my shearling wedge shoe boots garnered the most attention and I just loved seeing the look on their faces when I told them they were in fact only £35 (and still on sale) from the online store Boohoo! I think they're absolutely perfect for A/W 2011 and the wedge style makes them incredibly comfortable. The overall look was simple and classic black dotted with eye-catching extras like the floral shoulders and the shearling lining to the boots. Keeping this in mind, I went for a bright and bold jewellery with a turquoise theme to inject even more colour.

The makeup was kept simple with the focus on the lashes and lips. Hair extensions are from Lush as always (15 inch, 613 bleach blonde). Fake Tan used was He Shi express liquid tan and I wore two pairs of Eylure eye lashes. I placed Eylure's 110 on first and once they had dried I then placed the 'upper' lashes from the Eylure Naturalites upper and lower lash duo on top et voila - a double lash look that is suited for daytime.

I also got have a little chat and some photos with the beautiful Frankie Essex from TOWIE. She told us how she adores MAC makeup but is also a huge fan of the much cheaper brand 'Sleek makeup' - especially their eyeshadow palettes. She was wearing a leopard print dress - they do love their lepard print don't they - and she did her own makeup and hair (hair extensions from Cinderella and used heated rollers) for the event. She was wearing Studio Fix Fluid by MAC Foundation and Eylure's Double Lash Lashes (incidentally so were Lauren and Amy - Eylure Double Lashes are clearly a TOWIE fave).

I also had the pleasure of meeting Laura from Belles Boutique again (who I actually stole the picture above from..thanks Laura!) and she has already done three posts on the event so head on over to Belles Boutique to see some footage of Frankie and lots of photos of Lauren and Amy's new collection.

I am so excited to see how the footage looks from yesterday and even more excited to begin sharing it with you next week - Don't for get to subscribe to my YouTube!
