April Favourites

.) Lee Stafford: For Hair That Never Grows Past A Certain Length Treatment (£7.99) I toyed with this product when I was at University but never really paid it much attention. I picked it up again a little while ago and have since noticed a definite improvement to my hair. Reading numerous reviews it seems there is a lot of love for this baby! It seems to work more to improve the strength and condition of the hair (it's a protein based treatment) which, in turn, leaves hair feeling thicker and allows it to grow without breaking. It is not a miracle treatment that will magically add inches to your locks - but it's a pretty budget buy for what is a 5-star-rated hair treatment. Also has the most divine smell.

.) Skin Doctors: Eye Tuck (£28.05) I've tried numerous eye creams in the past but have never found one that I loved. I have been using this throughout April and have noticed a marked improvement to the puffiness and bags which are always evident under my eyes. Really liking this product.Smoothness, moisturisation and elasticity were all shown to increase and bags and puffiness were shown to decrease in a whopping 95% of volunteers. It is the first and only specific under eye bag treatment to contain the new breakthrough ingredient Eyeseryl - No idea what ot how it works - but it does!

.) Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask (£20) I have been using this mask at night about 2-3 times a week and often will use it in the daytime for a few hours at the weekend if I am going out that evening. it contains Avocado Oil and Apricot Kernel Oil deeply and instantly moisturises and Japanese Seaweed repairs the skins barrier to prevent future dehydration. Every time I've worn this when staying with my boyfriend he's commented on how nice it smells.

.) Red Cherry Lashes in #38 (£3.29) as used by MUA Lyndsey Harrison on Danielle Llyod and the Towie Girls. These are a great pair of dramatic lashes which are incredibly lightweight and easy to apply. Have a look at Lyndsey's video to see them on her and Danielle. I purchased three pairs from eBay for under £10.

.) Smashbox Photo Finish Lip Stick - Pout (£22). Gorgeous, creamy moisturising pale pink lipstick, See full review and swatches here

.) Clarins Ever Matte Foundation (£24) The first matte foundation I've found which isn't heavy or drying and actually provides a lot lighter coverage than I thought. Goes on like a dream and leaves a totally matte finish whilst still allowing skin to breathe. Has a very strong watermelon scent which I love but may not be to everyone's taste. Full review coming soon.

.) Make Up Forever Lift Concealer (£17.50). Bought this ages ago and never used it, decided I needed to use it up and have actually found it to be a good concealer. Do not believe it has any lasting or even much of a temporary 'lifting' effect at all on the eye area but is a nice consistency to work with and offers good coverage. I use this on blemishes as well as under my eyes.

.) DIOR New Look Multi-Dimensional Mascara (£23). Fabulous mascara which provides length and volume with a smaller-than-average brush which lets you reach the innermost corner lashes. See full review here.
.) bareMinerals Buxom Lip Gloss Plumper - Katie (£18) A pale pink lip plumping gloss which leaves a fabulous pale pink sheen and tingly feeling after application.  It's not sticky and really does have a  plumping effect. I love it mainly for the colour and awesome tingling-lips though! Love pairing it over a baby pink lipstick, such as Smashbox Pout, or on it's own for a really subtle sheen.
