Lovea Moroccan Argan Brilliance Shine Shampoo and A'Kin Pure Rose Hydrating Mist Review.
I was sent these two products to review (along with lots of other bloggers!) and I have a very positive and high opinion of both of the products. The serum, I didn't like as much, but am giving to my mum to try out to see if it works better on maturer skin (considering it is an anti-aging serum I'm assuming this will be the case!) ANYWAY onto the reviews.
A'Kin Pure Rose Hydrating Mist
Blurb:
A'kin Pure Rose Hydrating Mist is a revitalising mist designed to give your skin an instant refreshing lift and enliven your complexion, while soothing even the most sensitive of skins. Australian Bush Flower Essences, old man banksia, dog rose and tall mulla mulla are used in this mist as well as aloe barbadensis leaf juice to calm skin, and vitamins B5 to soothe skin.
Akin Hydrating Rose Mist is formulated using sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid), one of the latest discoveries in natural skin care. Sodium hyaluronate is a key water maintaining component in our skin. Modern living and ageing can cause a decrease in this vital skin boosting ingredient, and as a result the water maintaining ability of the skin is weakened
Spray over your face and body to instantly refresh and hydrate your skin, use throughout the day when your skin feels dehydrated, flushed or heated. Can be used over makeup and helps control shine. Great for dry environments, air conditioned offices and long flights. Remember to close your eyes when spraying the mist on your face!
I am a MASSIVE lover of Mac Fix+. I adore it. I suffer from shiny/oily skin which can also feel horribly tight throughout the day as I continuously apply blot powder. Mac Fix+ refreshes my face and make-up and leaves it feeling slightly less tight for a while but does not really 'moisturise'. So, I was already a convert to 'mists'/'sprays' before I was sent this.
I'm always skeptical of things you can use 'anywhere' - I would normally be hesitant to use the same spray on my FACE as I would on my body but due to the natural, organic ingredients and the fact it delivered such a fine mist that it was a)moisturising enough for your body but b)not too oily/greasy for your face meant that ever since I first sprayed it I have been using it all over my face and body.
Once I had ripped off all the packaging - it looked like this...
Bye for now lovelies xxxx

I.Love.It. Simple as that. It's like Mac Fix+ only better. Not only does this instantly cool you down, refresh your face and make-up but it leaves your skin actually feeling hydrated. I find that, while Mac Fix+ is successful in absorbing the shine/oil from my face, it can leave it slightly tight-feeling after it dries - this leaves your skin feeling hydrated but also shine free - massive win for those of us with oily but 'tight' complexions! Furthermore, I used this to cool down during the (whole three days) of hot weather we had, and after I blow dried my hair - I used it on my face, neck and arms and it was so refreshing. I suffer from quite sensitive skin as well - I'm prone to redness and some rich products can easily break me out - I suffered absolutely no adverse reactions or sensitivity to this product which goes to show it really can be used 'all over' and is a true multipurpose product.
For summer, I think this is an absolute must have and better than Mac Fix+ in terms of how it leaves your skin feeling and the fact it contains more natural, organic ingredients and can also be used to moisturise your body. Plus - it smells a lot nicer (sort of floral and light - like roses? describing scents is not a strong point of mine...it just smells 'nice and refreshing' - they wont be hiring me to write perfume ads any time soon..) Considering it's a similar price and I have repurchased Mac Fix+ twice now, I would definitely repurchase this.
In an attempt to illustrate just how much I have been using it I took this (rubbish quality) photo to show you how much I've been loving it !

Lovea Moroccan Argan Brilliance Shine Shampoo
Blurb:
Lovea Moroccan Argan Brilliance Shine Shampoo is ideal for lifeless hair, it fortifies hair and restores sheen and brilliance. Your hair should become stronger and rediscover its natural bounce. This shampoo uses organic certified Moroccan Argan, one of nature’s treasures for its nutritive, regenerative, anti-ageing properties.
I have to start by saying that I have seriously damaged hair. Over bleaching it led to a load of it falling out about two years ago and it has only just grown back into a vaguely decent state! Also, those of us who bleach the crap out of hair know that IT NEVER LOOKS SHINY. It just doesn't. It's never going to be Cheryl-Cole-shiny but it can most definitely look either brilliant aNd bright or dull and brassy. The latter is something I despise with a passion - I hate the brassy, dull, orangey tones that blonde hair can all so often hold. Secondly, I should note that I usually use a hair mask, followed by a shampoo (changes) and 99% of the time I use my Redken 'Pearl Glam' purple conditioner to get the 'white' blonde look - I then use a Label M Protein spray, Chi Silk, Tigi 'Cocky' and Tigi 'The Split End Mender' in my wet hair and I will then use a Kerestase smoothing spray once it's dry - The reason I've just written that horrendously dull paragraph about my hair washing habits?
This is how my hair looked after JUST using the Lovea Moroccan Argan Brilliance Shine Shampoo
- No conditioner and no additional products whatsoever.

I've read some reviews saying the product didn't lather well and they had to use lots - I didn't find this at all, I used a small amount and it lathered quite a bit (not as much as a normal shampoo but organic ones don't) and I vigorously massaged it into my scalp. Then i washed it off and I did feel my hair was a bit 'knotty' - but whose hair isn't if they're just using shampoo? HELLO that's why conditioner was invented.
Anyway, I decided to skip conditioner and any other products just to see. When it was all rinsed off i found it surprisingly easy to comb through and I blow dried the roots and left the rest to air dry. As you can see from the above picture my blonde was totally refreshed, there was volume in my hair and it was easy to run my fingers through it. The day after using the shampoo I find my hair is slightly greasy - but I usually use Batiste on days two and three anyway - so this is no different to any other shampoo I would use.
